Cherai Beach, 30 Km from Kochi, the business capital of Kerala. It is one of the most beautiful stretches of lovely golden beaches of soft sand facing the Arabian sea, blue sky and warm clear sea, gives a perfect ambiance of relaxation. The beach stretch about 16 Km, bordering Vypin island, with backwaters rimmed by lush green coconut palms and paddy field.

Chariot festival: The temple known as Azheekkal Sree Varaha Venkateswara Temple and is the only "Sampoornakshetra" in South India. 
Gowreeswara Temple: One of the major pilgrimage centre in Kerala also known as South Pazhani and the temple is is dedicated to Lord Muruka. 
Pallipuram Church: The church is constructed by the Portuguese in 1577. Cherai, holds biggest cultural festival at here.
