Lonavala


Highlights:
Lonavala is a town located 64 Km away from Pune district of Maharashtra.  It is famous through India for the hard Candy Sweet known as Chikki. Lonavala comes to life during monsoon season as the countryside turns lush green with waterfalls and ponds. The hill stations spread over an approximate area of 38 Km2 and are popular holiday destinations during the monsoons. A trip to Lonaval& Khandala can be combined with sight-seeing visits of Karla, Bhaja, Bedsa Caves and the fort Lohagad& Visapur.

Coorg

 Highlights:

Coorg or Kodagu originally called Kodaimalenadu which means “dense forest on steep hill”.  Coorg is known for its hospitality of people& beautiful scenery. One of the best destinations for tourist, where they get excited by spectacular scenic beauty, wooded slopes, undulating landscape etc. Madikeri is the capital of Coorg and is dubbed as the Scotland of India.

Rishikesh River Rafting

Highlights:

Rishikesh is known for important Pilgrimage Centre set on the banks of river Ganga but white water rafting makes Rishikesh more popular in India. Rafting is an adventure sport which can offer most memorable days in your life.
 
Rafting is usually done in a rubber boat known as Raft and the rafting is being carried in rapids formed by river. Rafting rapids are graded from 1 to 6 depending on the ease, with which they can be navigated, with 1 being the easiest.

Rapids have been given popular names like Golf course, Three Blind Mice, Daniels Dip, Sweet Sixteen, Cross fire, Double Trouble and Roller Coaster.
Grade 3 rapids are most popular in tourist rafters at Rishikesh. Grade 3 rafting starts from Marine Drive to Shivapuri that extends 10 Km. Tourist can also go for 16 Km rafting which starts from Shivapuri& ends at Rishikesh (Ram Jhula).  This rafting categorized as Grade 4 and visitors will get an opportunity for Cliff Jumping. Rafters stop their raft on river side& they can jump to river from the top of Cliff.  Spectacular scenic beauty on the river banks of Ganga adds another punch to Rishikesh Tourism.
